Skiing on the highest active volcano in Europe!
the panorama and the colors will amaze you, the view of the sea and the fumaroles will literally leave you breathless!
This experience is perfect for both ski mountaineers enthusiasts and amateurs, but also for those approaching this sport for the first time! The route does not have difficult stretches, the slopes you will find on the volcano are slight and the very compact snow will facilitate both the descent and the ascent!

FOLLOWING
3rd day:
Beautiful and panoramic tour along the southeast shoulder of the Pizzi Deneri
Transfer by car to the Citelli refuge (1740 m.) on the north-east side of the volcano. A beautiful view of the Valle del Bove and ascent to Pizzi Deneri 2847 m. Return to our b&b in Zefferana Etnea.
Difference in altitude uphill and downhill 1100 meters. Return time around 4.30 hours.
4th day:
Depending on the weather conditions, we will take a short ski trip and then move to Catania in the early afternoon to catch the return flight.

The program
1st day:Arrival at Catania airport and transfer by car to Zafferana Etnea b&b; a country located on the southern slope of Etna, accommodation in b&b.
2nd day:Departure from the refuge Sapienza, ascent to the crater of the plain 3050 mt. for the southern slope (we will evaluate together whether to take advantage of the ski lifts to shortening the height difference) descent for the same itinerary and return to our b&b in Zafferana Etnea .
