Spaghetti tour
The famous Spaghetti Tour will take you through the highest peaks of the Monte Rosa massif, a mountaineering adventure on some of the most iconic mountains in the Alps.
During the four-day tour, you will cross the borders between Italy and Switzerland, with overnight stays in high altitude huts located on both sides of the border.
You will face glacier sections, steep slopes and long climbs, surrounded by breathtaking views.
The tour is ideal for those seeking an intense ski mountaineering experience, strictly accompanied by a UIAGM mountain guide.
The program requires good physical and technical preparation.

Programma
Day 1: Meeting in Cervinia and ascent to the Breithorn
The tour begins with an early morning meeting in Cervinia, where you will meet your guide and the rest of the group.
After an initial briefing and equipment check, you will ride the lifts up to Plateau Rosa (3,480 meters) where the ascent to the Breithorn (4,164 meters), one of the most accessible peaks of Monte Rosa and our first summit, begins.
The route offers breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc range and the Matterhorn. After reaching the summit, we descend to the Lambronecca Refuge (3,480 meters), where we stay overnight.
Day 2: Castor traverse.
Early morning departure from the refuge to tackle one of the most challenging climbs of the tour: the Castor traverse from the West Face (4,228 meters).
The route involves crossing the glacier, sometimes with technical sections requiring crampons and ice axe.
This traverse offers spectacular views of the Italian and Swiss valleys.
After crossing Castor, you descend to the Quintino Sella Refuge (3,585 meters), where you will spend the night.
Day 3: Lyskamm Nose traverse.
On the third day we set off from the Quintino Sella Refuge for a truly adventurous stage: the Lyskamm Nose (4,272 meters) traverse.
This stage is more technical and challenging, with steep slopes that require attention and safety. After the traverse, we descend to the Gnifetti Hut (3,647 meters), where we stay overnight.
The day ends with an evening at the hut, located on a spur suspended above the Lys Glacier.
Day 4: Ascent to Capanna Margherita and descent to Gressoney
The last day of the tour includes an early start for the ascent to the legendary Capanna Margherita (4,554 meters), the highest refuge in Europe.
The route crosses the Lys Glacier and winds in the presence of numerous peaks of the massif.
After reaching the Margherita Hut and enjoying its wonderful 360° view, the most enjoyable part begins.
Now begins the long descent to Gressoney, depending on snow conditions you can ski down to the valley or use the lifts.
From here, return to Cervinia by cab.
