A Day on the Breithorn Ascent

The day begins early with a nourishing breakfast to recharge before the adventure. After preparing the equipment and a quick briefing with your guide, you'll head to the starting point of the excursion. The ascent starts with a walk through enchanting landscapes, surrounded by fresh snow and breathtaking views of the majestic Alpine peaks.

During the climb, the guide will provide instructions and tips on ski mountaineering techniques, ensuring everyone feels confident with the equipment. There will be scheduled breaks to rest, take in the scenery, and capture unforgettable photos.

As you approach the summit, the final section of the route will require greater focus and physical effort. However, the beauty of the surrounding landscape and the sense of achievement will keep you motivated. Upon reaching the top of the Breithorn, you'll have a moment to celebrate and admire the spectacular views.

After a well-deserved snack, the descent begins, navigating the slopes with care and technique. Back at the refuge, you can relax and share the day's emotions with fellow participants before going back to Cervinia to conclude this epic adventure.

Equipment

Required Equipment:
- Full ski mountaineering gear, including a helmet
- Avalanche safety kit: transceiver, shovel, and probe
- Water and snacks for the day
- Appropriate clothing for high-altitude ski mountaineering

Travel Insurance

Any mountain activity carries a risk of injury. It is highly recommended to have insurance coverage for medical expenses and accidents, including search and rescue costs, even by helicopter.

It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure they have this coverage in place before departure.
