
Ice climbing course

Our ice climbing course is the perfect opportunity to approach this fascinating discipline accompanied by a UIAGM guide.
It doesn't matter if you are an absolute beginner: this course is designed for those who want to take their first steps into the world of ice climbing, in one of the most spectacular settings in the Alps.
During the course you will learn:
- The fundamental techniques for ice climbing.
- The correct use of waterfall equipment: crampons, ice axes, ice screws and more.
- The basics of safety in ice progression.

Program
Day 1
We will lay the basics of technique and movement, use of ice axes and crampons, and partner safety
Day 2
Climbing technique and lots of ice climbing
Day 3
Introduction of first-rope climbing basics and ice bolting technique
Day 4
For the more daring first-rope climbing on single pitches or second-rope climbing on high difficulty routes

Travel Insurance
Any mountain activity carries a risk of injury. It is highly recommended to have insurance coverage for medical expenses and accidents, including search and rescue costs, even by helicopter.
It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure they have this coverage in place before departure.
